And not because Association wants to know your weekend plans. However, we do want to make sure you have an ATA online member account and that we have your current contact information.
Why?
The Association will be increasing the regularity with which it posts information for ATA members only on its website, including updates about tripartite talks. In certain circumstances, the Association may distribute information to specific segments of its membership. The information may be important, sensitive, critical, or a combination of those things. By having an up-to-date ATA online member account, you are ensured access to essential member information.
ATA members, whether teachers, administrators or associate members, can create an account by visiting the Association’s website, clicking on the log in icon and following the three-step process outlined in the Account Request Overview. ATA members who already have an online account can update their information by logging in, clicking on Your Account and updating the fields displayed when Profile Update is selected.
And, by the way, even though the Association doesn’t need to know your plans for the weekend, we encourage you to take some time and enjoy it!
